Introduction
In this playbook, you'll learn how to track and monitor accounts assigned to you in your CRM using Reo.Dev. Sales teams often struggle with visibility into ongoing evaluations after initial sales conversations. While CRM and other intent tools provide surface-level insights—such as website visits—tracking developer activity within those accounts has been a blind spot.
With Reo.Dev, you can create a segment of only the accounts assigned to you in your CRM, monitor their developer engagement, and receive real-time Slack alerts. This ensures you can proactively reach out when new activity is detected, helping accelerate deal cycles and prevent promising accounts from going cold.
For sales managers, this playbook also covers how to set up account segments for your AEs and SDRs and share them within Reo.Dev for better team collaboration.
Create Segment
To monitor your assigned accounts, create a segment in Reo.Dev using the CRM Owner filter. This allows you to focus only on the accounts assigned to you in your CRM and track their activity in one place.

Plays are step-by-step strategies designed to help you use Reo.Dev's features effectively, guiding you through specific actions to uncover high-intent developers and optimize your outreach.
Play 1: Set Up Slack Alerts for Your Assigned Accounts
Once your segment is created, set up Slack alerts to be notified when developer activity occurs within your accounts. This allows you to track evaluation signals and respond at the right time.

Steps to Set Up Slack Alerts for Ongoing Monitoring:
Navigate to Your Segment:
Go to the Segments section in Reo.Dev.
Find the CRM Owner segment you created.
Enable Alerts:
Click on the Get Alerts button next to your segment.
This ensures that no warm account slips through the cracks, allowing you to engage the right accounts at the right time.
Play 2: For Sales Managers — Share CRM Owner-Specific Account Segments to AEs & SDRs
Sales managers can create dedicated account segments for each AE or SDR based on CRM ownership and share them individually. This ensures every rep gets a focused list of their assigned accounts, along with real-time activity insights to drive timely engagement.
Steps:
Create segments for each rep based on CRM Owner → Select Rep’s Name.
Share the Segment with the CRM Owner & Add Notes.
How to Share & Add Notes:
Click on the "Share Segment" button.
Select the CRM owner’s name from the list.
In the notes section, provide guidance on what actions to take.
Example Note for CRM Owner:
This segment includes your assigned CRM accounts showing recent developer activity. Keep an eye on new engagements and use Slack alerts to track key signals. If you see a spike in activity, re-engage the account with relevant outreach or coordinate with marketing for targeted follow-ups.
